Sisters in Christ practicing community and compassion
Four large yearly events include women of all ages in teaching, worshiping as a community, prayer and fellowship:
Women’s Retreat
All women are invited and encouraged to go to the yearly Women’s Retreat. Here either we will go to a center and spend a couple of days with a speaker, taking the time to fellowship together in small groups and in corporate worship, or, spend a Saturday at Zion Church in workshops groups and corporate worship. And, of course, at every retreat there will be plenty of time for snacking and talking!

Winter Banquet
This evening of fellowship and friendship in mid-winter following the holidays is a chance for women to rekindle their excitement for Christ and His ministry among us. With a focus on missions and our sisterhood with other women around the world and in our own back yard, we will to eat, listen to a speaker, worship, listen to special music, and relax in the understanding of our Lord as the Lord of the entire world. In addition, we will be able to invite our friends to enjoy the special evening out.

Women’s Tea
The Zion Women’s Tea on a Saturday afternoon in the Spring lets you relax with friends around a tastefully appointed table as you sip tea and nibble on scones and other foods with a delightfully British bent. This is an afternoon of fun, friendship, special music, and a message that will warm your heart. All the work is done; just come and enjoy yourself.

Summer Service Project
Join the Zion women as they gather to reach out to others. This project is for all women. We will gather together to assemble items for a specific ministry in our church, our community, our country or our world.
This project varies from year to year, but all hands are needed. Beginning with prayer and worship, we will pull together items to bless another ministry or group, whether City Impact, a deployed service group, a missions group, or even our own neighborhood or that of one of our sister churches.
The opportunity to work side-by-side, ministering to others, is something you don’t want to miss.
